  1. For the longer courses you'll need to understand the pictorial control descriptions which are explained here. The Dunedin web site has lots of other useful links on this page too.
  2. Where the course setter has put red (magenta) crosses like this 'XXX' on a track/road/railway line that means the route is out of bounds and is not to be used. In a national event or Get 2Go you will be disqualified for taking this route. Same goes for black or red hatched areas (in NPL that is used for private property).
  3. Always clear and check you sportID before you set off on your course. The Ident can only hold a limited number of punches so if it already holds the previous events course information there might not be room for your course, you will fill the memory and the last few controls will not be recorded.
